"Let's not talk about this right now. Otherwise the reporters will see and all efforts will be wasted!"

The situation seemed to be in a deadlock, so Yan Liang stepped up. She looked at the sunglasses resting on Ke Ying's nose and pointed at it, "Um, Miss Ke Ying, let me borrow those sunglasses. In a moment, Chairman Liang and I will walk out naturally.  I'll have to trouble you to leave via the employee entrance. This way we can evade the reporters' sight."

Women always had a keen sixth sense towards other women. When a man was involved, it morphed into hostility.

From the first glance, Ke Ying didn't like this other woman.

But the other woman was Liang Xi Cheng's secretary. In these circumstances, if Ke Ying said one word too many, she would be found guilty. She paused and then looked at Yan Liang from head to toe. Her red lips slightly raised and said haughtily, "Cheng, do you think if you walk out with her, you can get away with it? Her figure is far from mine. Not only that, the paparazzi will figure it out with one look at the clothes she is wearing."

Yan Ling looked down at her professional outfit. Although she heard the barbs in Ke Ying's words which made her vaguely uncomfortable, they had some reason.

Comparing her clothes with those of a celebrity, her clothes really did look too commonplace. Furthermore, she struck up a conversation with a reporter outside. When they left, even if she did wear sunglasses, a reporter's sharp eyes would see through the disguise.

 Liang Xi Cheng looked with narrowed eyes at Yan Liang. The corners of his mouth darkly curved with an unfathomable air, "Your two figures are more or less the same. If she wears your jacket, it'll be fine. With her at my side wearing sunglasses, there won't be any suspicions."

Ke Ying's expression abruptly darkened. She couldn't completely cover her jealousy.

Regarding Liang Xi Cheng, even if there were reporters outside, so what if their pictures got taken? Without his consent, there was no point even if the reporters were whipped into a frenzy. No one dared to offhandedly publish the story. She wanted reporters to take pictures so everyone would see clearly: she was Liang Xi Cheng's woman. A sex scandal versus a secret everyone knew were two different concepts.

But what she didn't expect was for Liang Xi Cheng to surprisingly let this secretary wear her clothes and accompany him out in a ridiculous compromise. And her?

Leave via the employee entrance?!

She felt aggrieved, but Liang Xi Chen wasn't going to change his mind.

Ke Ying felt she like she really was suffering in silence. With difficulty, she still had to squeeze out a perfect smile, "Ok."

She unwillingly took off her jacket and handed it to Yan Liang. Before she left, she didn't forget to tug on Liang Xi Cheng's wrist, "Cheng, then I'll leave first. You promised me earlier you'll have a meal with me tomorrow."

Liang Xi Cheng expressionlessly nodded his head. It counted as a promise.

Ke Ying realized from the beginning to the end, his gaze always rested on that secretary.

To be honest, I'm kinda siding with Ke Ying. If I've been dating a guy for years and he won't publicly admit we are together, I'd be pissed. Especially if all he does is stare at another girl.
